Purpose: A defense organization required a platform to reduce paper usage, as they were relying heavily on paper files for reviews, updates, and distributing minutes across departments. Our PLM platform partner offered a solution by providing a single source of truth for confidential documents, automatic notifications for document uploads, review meetings, system engineering-based product development, and accessibility for various departments across different regions. All of these features were delivered through a custom solution that extended the platform’s out-of-the-box capabilities, such as Document and BoM management.
